make it a bright color that will inspire, motivate, and bring joy to you AND your husband. talk with him, and see what colors that you both like. go to home depot and pick out some paint chips. it will be a great way to find out which color is right for the both of you, and it’s great bonding time.
hope i helped!

The container store offers storage solutions that might be helpful for storing your scrap-booking supplies and paperwork. you can also plan your office space there at “get organized” then “plan a space” at http://www.containerstore.com
http://seejanework.com/ has stylish office supplies and organizers and even some economically-friendly products
i personally haven’t purchased anything from these stores, but i view them online and they seem nice
try using stainless steel pen cups and office supplies, they give an elegant modern look.
placing a cork board for each workspace, is an efficient way to reflect one’s personality and memos. you can even cover plain cork in fabric for a personal stylish touch.
i believe the most efficient worktops are spacious, and clutter-free. even if it’s a small desk, you can keep it empty by storing all the files, papers, scrap booking materials in a set of drawers underneath the desk. where only a pens&pencils’ cup, lamp, and maybe a telephone &computer would lie on the desktop.it might be more user friendly, if affordable, to supply a second desk for the computer.
i guess plain white walls are suitable, where you can customize your own wall with photo frames, maybe even painted floral stencils, and yet the room would look simple, without the creative side domineering .but if you want wallpaper ideas, you can find some at the ideal home product finder

wish you good luck, and a sufficient organized stylish office/scrap booking area
